A GRIEVING MOTHER

“A wife who loses a husband is called a widow. A husband who loses a wife is called a widower. A child who loses his parents is called an orphan. There is no word for a parent who loses a child. That’s how awful the loss is.”

Marion Jones is the epitome of a “Strong Women” given all the triumphs she has experienced in her life. She often recites this quote by Jay Neugeboren, as it resonated with her while grieving the loss of her children.

In this episode of Epiphany Talk Radio, Marion shares the pain of losing not one but two of her children.  Marion discusses what kept her going and why she didn’t lose hope!  Marion wrote her book “A Grieving Mother” to help others who have lost a child or children.
